Hey everyone. A few months ago I had a psychic reading and she told me that I got everything I needed from the place I was living in and that the person I love is not my life partner. She described my future life partner in detail, how he looks, what he's like etc. (I didn't ask).

I just went away for a few months to travel after that without knowing when or if I come back home but now I decided to come back to live at the place she said is not for me anymore. It does feel right to be back here though even if it might not be forever. Also I am about to get back into a relationship with the person I love but she said he's not my life partner and he doesn't fit everything she said (in some ways though) ... I did meet someone on my travels that suited the characteristics she described so I am even thinking that what if I made the wrong choice by not staying with him in case he was my life partner?!

I am finding it hard to forget that she sees me somewhere else with someone else and though I can imagine that some day it feels like it's keeping from being present what feels right now and I wish I would have never heard it. I know readings are not set in stone and just potential but my question is are psychics reading your 'highest' potential or your best possible path and therefore if I choose different I am not living my highest potential or something? I feel stupid even asking this because I know my life is in my hands but it would be helpful to get some understanding how psychics work and what they base their Information on... thank you!
