I’m precepting a lovely PMHNP student and would like to get her a small Christmas gift, since I’m getting presents for everyone else in our office. My original idea was to get her a Nancy McWilliams book because we’ve talked a lot about psychodynamic formulations and theory. However, when I was a student, the last thing I wanted to do over Christmas break was read more theory books.
