I've been working as a behavioral health technician at an inpatient psychiatry unit for the past year and feel like there is so much more for me to learn about the mental conditions that patients face.
While I'm not striving to know just as much as a healthcare provider, I feel like I would be able to contribute more to the rest of the interdisciplinary team and interact with patients better by learning more about their symptoms, behaviors, prognosis, treatments, terminology, etc.
Are there any good book recommendations/credible resources to start off with?
