Hi, I'm a psychiatrist in my second year of residency in South Korea.
I see four people weekly for psychoanalytic psychotherapy. I take session notes after each session, but it feels cluttered and contains too much information to get a sense of how the therapy is progressing. I considered writing a brief account of how the therapy is progressing, the patient's transference, the patient's countertransference, and so on.
However, it's difficult to organize how things are going, therefore I was curious how other psychiatrists record and explain how their therapy is going. Any suggestions?
I believe it would be extremely beneficial if someone could provide me with some references that I could look up.
