I have a patient who I started on clozapine. Family has great difficulty in getting weekly blood draws, I would say they manage 75% of the time. patient is at a stable clozapine dose. I wrote a prescription for 7 days for meds with 8 refills, called the pharmacy and they were in agreement. I call the family weekly to do a check in, and I update the REMS when I can.

The pharmacy still gives them the meds even if they haven't had their weekly clozapine lab. So far everything has been ok, anc count fell to low 2s at one point from 4s, but it bounced back.

Anywho, I was hoping for some guidance. Patient is on month 5 so far, so almost to biweekly testing.
