Treatment of comorbid OCD and bipolar disorder.
Post Body

Seeing if anyone had some comments about treating this population. A general rule Iā€™ve read is to treat the bipolar disorder as fully as possible and any ā€œleft overā€ OCD sxs need to be treated with psychotherapy. Does anyone have anecdotes or experiences with this? In theory could olanzapine-fluoxetine combination be helpful since SSRIā€™s are usually the first line treatment? Any preferred mood stabilizer or SGA thatā€™s more useful than others?
