Is there a PSIP DIY protocol?
Post Body

Our province doesn't license psychedelics or cannabis for psychologists. They are working on licensing it for psychiatrists, but they have months long waiting lists. None of the MSW's have training in it.

So...

Conversation here has convinced me that psilocybin isn't going to be useful until I can get better at this whole surrender thing -- something I find difficult.

My brother in law suggested that I use cannabis, and a bunch of people here told me to check in with the psychedelic somatic institute and read their white paper. While the paper describes their model, it doesn't describe the treatment at all.

Cannabis is now legal in my province. Getting any of a large variety of oil based concentrates with different ratios of CBD/THC is relatively inexpensive (Typical prices of $35 for 1 oz of oil containing 15-30mg THC/CBD You can oils that are nearly all THC or nearly all CBD and various levels in between)

My BIL has the same reaction to psilocybin as I do -- tension, fear/anxiety, worse ADHD symptoms, but says that he finds cannabis more relaxing and it allow him to feel his emotions.

This combined with my current meditation/mindfulness/dual awareness work may be a better option.

Suggestions for a DIY protocol for this to do in conjunction with my current therapy.
