So I have plaque psoriasis. It flares up mostly during summer but can flare up whenever. The flare-ups are on my forehead and face, elbows, knees, and stomach.
I've used steroid creams for a while and they clear things up pretty well. But the side effects are real. I've also used lotion to moisturize and hide the plaques. But the lotion dries up during the day and I have to reapply. It's worth noting here that I have a half sleeve tattoo.
My tattoo is colored which means it needs extra care to keep the colors looking good. I heard of this moisturizer Mad Rabbit for tattoos. It is supposed to brighten the colors of the tattoo.
Summer hits and my face goes bananas with psoriasis. I didn't want to use the steroid cream because health concerns, so I went for some lotion instead. No lotion. The only thing I had to moisturize was Mad Rabbit Balm. Obviously, I went for it because who wants to go outside without trying to hide the psoriasis?
It worked! Not only did it work, but it never dried up enough to require a reapplication. The only time it stopped working was after I washed it off in the shower. The plaques we're invisible, the roughness was calmed. In fact, I have been applying it daily for the last week and I am even noticing the flare up cool down. My skin is not as rough as it was and there are no side effects for me.
Important to note that I am overly excited about this and wanted to share with you all immediately. But I've only been doing it for about a week. Might be worth trying if your psoriasis is mild enough that you can use moisturizers to cover it up. Good luck everyone!
