New to proxmox. What performance difference will there be with VMs on a SSD NAS over NFS versus directly on the host?

Post Body

I have a few hundred GB of host storage on the same NVMe that proxmox is installed on, but I'm uncomfortable running VMs on the same disk as the host. I have an all SSD NAS RAID5 I'm connected to with NFS. Network connection is 1Gbps.

Would there be any performance concerns with moving the VM storage to the NAS?

Currently it's just one VM running Plex, Audiobookshelf, and AssetUPnP, not extreme load, but I will likely also be setting up Home Assistant in a separate VM, and possibly running a few lab VMs for various linux testing (mostly docker and k8s related most likely).

Thanks!
