I have seen many videos like this one where police try to take someone down by hand but it does not always end up well for the officer.

Things can happen quickly, you may not always have the option to pull your gun, so it makes me wonder if there may be possible "default" options.

It strikes me that it could be possible to design a "uniform taser".

Something that can be worn over the uniform that in the event the worst happens an officer can quickly apply a taser shock to a suspect that has hold of them.

There are a few ways it can be done but before playing around further with the design is this something that, if it can be safely, would officers be interested in?
