Does your department mandate the use of less-lethal weaponry when it comes to it?
Post Body

In this case, I mean weaponry like the beanbag shotgun, and that quirky taser shotgun that was a “hit” with most departments a couple of years ago?

I’m curious on the positions of most traditional officers of less lethal weaponry, because some people don’t prefer them, and some people do. And I know every department can’t afford them either, so, what’s your opinion?

Edit: My apologies for being illiterate. I'm just asking if your department requires every person to have a (long) less-lethal weapon on them, like a beanbag shotgun just incase a taser or OC spray doesn't work on the suspect.
