I woke up at 2am to pee, and about half way through I had a sharp pain/sting. I was half asleep so kind of knew what was going on. The pain seem to come from my bulbous urethra/ urethral sphincter area. My urine was very dark and smelt, most likely due to be dehydrated.

Anyway, I went back to bed but the pain seemed to carry on in waves. I get a sharp stabbing pain in waves.

I’m concerned it may have been a kidney stone? Maybe the Kidney stone passed through and cut my urethra on the way out? Thing is I have no symptoms of kidney stones.

I’ve had this condition for 5 years now on/off and can’t remember this particular symptom. I’m sure it’s related somehow. I did my first morning pee and nothing. No pain, blood or burning.

Definitely confused and worried now. If it was a stone then my worry is it may have cut my urethra which may lead to a stricture, and that is something i definitely do not want!
