58 White Diagnosed 6 months ago, 4 3=7, PSA: 7.2. Biopsy: 2/12 The Gland was measured by ultrasound at 60. My father was diagnosed had seeds implanted for PC also at age 58.

I have told no one. When I found out, my wife was transitioning to a new career, my kids had a couple of situations that required my full attention. I work in the public sector and honestly donโ€™t want anyone knowing so I do not become the discussion of everyone in the school and community. This is something I need to deal with alone since me and my urologist and I decided to actively monitor.

My last PSA is now up to 8.5. I had an MRI the other day and am awaiting the results. I made the decision to just remove it. To me, it is the cleanest way to deal with this and move on. Iโ€™m trying my best to do it this summer when it is quiet and no one will miss me for two weeks.

In my mind, I want to wait until the PSA gets to 10.

Am I crazy to wait?

I very open minded and just looking for others opinions.

Please and Thank you!
