Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but since /r/editing, and /r/editors are all about videos, this is the closest I've come.
Anyways, my wife is close to defending her MA thesis. I'm not too worried about content, but the template given by her school is a pain, and I'm having issues getting the style's within word (headings and indexes in particular) to behave. I'm wondering whether it's worth doing everything manually (ugh), or maybe paying someone who knows what they're doing for a couple hours of help. (Currently thesis is only ~160 pages, including references/appendices, etc).
Currently stuck on getting the index to line up the way they want it to...
Sugestions/advice?
Template available here, in case you wanted to see what I'm trying to accomplish: http://fullerton.edu/graduate/currentstudents/thesis.asp
