Sometimes my brain feels like it glitches or goes numb for a few seconds. What the heck??
Post Body

Hey everyone,

So I have a very unique concern and you all are probably going to (rightfully) think I've officially lost it, but I've gotta know if anyone else has experienced this.

To give some context, I have 1 to 2 (non-cancerous) pituitary brain tumors as well as some cysts up there. I'm not sure what type yet. As far as I know, they are causing lots of hormonal issues. But that's about all I know so far. So I don't know if my "unique concern" is related to my tumor(s) or if this is just a new and stupid thing my body is doing.

So about once every three-ish months or so, I will be sitting there or laying there doing nothing in particular when there will be 5 or so seconds where it feels like my brain...goes numb? That's really the only way I can describe it. It honestly almost feels like my brain switches off for a few seconds.

I know this sounds absolutely nuts, but I had to ask. When it happens, there is no pain. No other symptoms. It just feels really weird. And as far as I can tell, I can physically move, but I almost instinctively feel like I shouldn't?

The first time it happened, I just thought it was a one-off fluke, but it happened again today, and it's making me a little concerned.

I will be seeing a new endocrinologist in May for the brain tumors (Dr. Erica Geraldi), and I have another endocrinologist I've been seeing, who I'm slowly phasing out. So I'm not trying to break any rules and ask for some kind of diagnosis!

If any of you have experienced this, please let me know!

TIA!
