Surgery and hospitalization question

Post Body

I'm doing one of the campaign scenarios, and I'm having some issues. I'm very new to this game. I set a patient up for surgery and it just...never happens. They never even get scheduled on the board, and they go days without getting their surgery.

I also have doctors hospitalizing patients for things they absolutely don't need to be hospitalized for. Something as simple as a leg cast leads to them being sent to be hospitalized. Patients who got their surgery days ago are still hospitalized (I had an emergency come in for a blood transfusion, we diagnosed them and administered the proper medications and 3 days later they're still hospitalized?), is it supposed to take that long?

Sorry, like I said I'm really new to this, and I feel like I'm missing a button or something.
