I have been looking into going to Fi for a few weeks now. I had finally decided to start it today but ran into a problem. I have two google accounts for some reason, one I use on my phone and another connected to an older email that I basically use on a desktop (Youtube subscriptions and google docs only really). I have been meaning to copy all of that to my actual gmail at some point but never got around to it. The problem is, last week at some point I was logged into my desktop one and went through the primary setup to see numbers. This involved putting in my SSN for the soft credit check. Today when I went through it using my gmail it failed since I had already put the information in for a different account. Does anyone know of anything I could do to get them to do the financing through my phone account? Right now only options I see are to do it under my desktop account (I don't want to do that because I would lose/have to deal with a lot of migration for my phone stuff like apps, contacts, and maps timeline. Also, I need to transition to my own gmail account since my desktop account is from my mom's ISP and no telling if she will cancel internet or something at some point.) or pay in full (doable, but I'm getting 2 LG G7s, so $1,500 all of a sudden would be annoying).
Basically, is there any way I could avoid buying them outright somewhat easily? If not, I guess our monthly bill would be a lot cheaper haha.
TLDR: Ran soft credit check while logged into wrong Google account. Anyway to have them connect credit check to correct account or am I buying two phones outright today?
