Looking to learn CSS & Need help with my subreddit style sheet & custom flair
Post Body

Hi guys, I'm looking for some help to improve the look and feel of r/FSAE, a subreddit devoted to Formula SAE, an intercollegiate engineering competition where students design and build racecars.

Color Tones: Fairly open-ended. I'd like to see some integration of a finish line flag. Some inspiration: http://webs.wichita.edu/depttools/depttoolsmemberfiles/formulasae/Website/formula_sae_logo-black2.jpg

Look and Feel: I'd like the design to be fairly clean and color oriented. It's an engineering subreddit, and an automotive racing subreddit. Possible sources for inspiration are engineering line drawings or FSAE cad models, however to avoid appearing in favor of one team over another, It's have to be a generic version or stylized to the point that it could be many different teams.

Sources of inspiration: http://bradfordagill.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/formula-sae.jpg (I like the overlapped look with graph paper.

Other Implementations:

I'd like to change the upvote / downvote arrows to traffic cones. I'd like to also have flair icons for the following: stylized engine stylized chassis or suspension stylized steering wheel stylized gear stylized wrench

Any help in how to accomplish this would be much appreciated!

Cheers!
