Small disclaimer: I'm a huge fan of Nathan Thompson's work, and goody two shoes protagonists.

This is a great second part to the series. The MC makes some huge strides forward in terms of cultivation. It is fun that the MC can cultivate from three different sources, this gives his powers a lot of variety.

I enjoy his moral compass. As much as I enjoy the novels that give heroes grey morals it is nice to read now and again novels were the heroes have good morals and stick with them despite everything.

The slow romance is a bit weird as the MC seems to be romancing two women who are also somehow the same person. Yes that is weird but it sort of works.

Anyway I enjoyed the hell out of this novel and encourage you all to read it or anything else by Nathan Thompson.
