Recommendation for a non-human/beast mc who actually lives like one?

I recently started and dropped Swarm. I really like the premise of the book especially the fact of him being a hive queen? But it sucked how much he fought his instincts and wanted to be ‘human’ again. Any recommendations of something similar but with the mc actually embracing their new nature and not wanting to be human again?
