Worm is perhaps the best superhero web novel out there. Everyone talks about it. There are dozens of fan fics about it. It has a fantastic magic system (the prt classification). Great characters. Nearly everyone agrees it's amazing, and even those who don't like it agree that it's memorable for one reason and another.
Now my question is what's the fantasy equivalent of Worm.
A story that is equally as impressive, but instead of superheroes and villains, kaiju-sized monstrosities, and eldritch space entities. It has wizards, knights, dragons, and gods. Everything someone would think about when you day fantasy story.
I'm asking this because I love Worm, and I tried coming up with a fantasy comparison, and I came up short.
I realize that this might be because, while the fantasy genre it a sprawling behemoth of a genre. With thousands of books and stories. Superhero stories are relatively rare, mostly existing in comics and movies. So there's less of a pool of comparison for superhero books.
Nevertheless, I would still like to know what the Worm equivalent of a fantasy book is. It doesn't have to progression fantasy (although it would be preferable). Just tell me what are some great fantasy series you think are comparable to Worm
And to everyone who wants to say Cradle or Mother of Learning. I know, they're awesome, but I still want some variety.
