Post Body

I've always been curious, but does star wars count as progression fantasy? This is a genuine question that has been bothering me for some time, because in my mind it has some progression fantasy like elements. It has a magic system obviously, but it also has interesting and wide ranging applications. Everything from pseudo mind control, telekinetic blasts, shooting lighting from fingers, and it has an interesting limits because of the light and dark sides of the force. This question mainly applies to the original trilogy before it was explained that Jedi's had power because of microscopic bugs.
