SPOILERS FOR BOOKS UP TO SKYSWORN

I’m so sorry, I know it must get really annoying seeing post after post about Cradle. I’m currently on my very first read-through and have made it to Skysworn and the duel with Jai Long. Even though Lindon has gotten exponentially more powerful since Unsouled, it doesn’t necessarily feel like he’s gotten more competent, if that makes sense.

Does this ever change? Not that I don’t enjoy him being the underdog, but it can get frustrating that he’s constantly on the back foot in every single conflict and makes it hard for me to enjoy his progress.
