As far as I understand, Zorian is a third-year student and is 15 years old, yet he says that those his age would want to be with graduated apprentices, and that first year students who are presumably 12-13, want to be with 3rd years.
Why is everyone in MoL so young? Zorian's angst is understandable as a 15 year old, but the setting is structured close to that of a college with set dorms and professors. It never bothered me before but on my reread, I can't get over the fact that everyone is just so young.
