Tip for decreasing AI submission issues
Post Body

As Iโ€™m seeing quite a few posts in here about faculty suspecting AI cheating, I thought I would share a helpful tip. Have your students submit assignments digitally as Word documents with Track Changes turned on. If you are suspicious you can just look at the edits to see if there is a lot of copy/paste or if they actually typed in the content.

If track changes is too annoying when you are grading then have them submit a โ€œcleanโ€ version too as a pdf and/or with the changes turned off.
