I am a fairly new into Product Management and recently I had my quarterly feedback session with my manager.
He mentioned I am low on energy and passion when pitching my ideas or initiative to relevant stakeholders. Hence I am not able to influence or get approvals. All my life I have had very calm, chill personality, pretty much my strengths but according to him these skills are best for someone at an exec level.
I agree with the feedback. What can I do to overcome this barrier? I believe convincing skills are important for successful PMs.
More passion. More passion. More energy. More energy.
