Post Body

Hello,

We are looking for a way to keep track of deprecated code, and when it is safe to delete the code.

For example

  • Backend release 2.13 introduces deprecated code
    • This code cannot be removed until mobile app 3.8 is released and fully deployed everywhere
  • App 3.8 gets released
    • Deprecated code from 2.13 gets marked as "cleared to remove"

We use

  • Jira
  • PHP (Symfony)
  • Flutter (Dart)

Is there a plugin/tool in Jira you would recommend to keep track of these changes?
Or is there some external tool we can use to keep track of this?

Kind regards
