Hello Everyone,
My name is Nick, I’m a director/producer from Canada. I’m currently in the very early stages of producing an Audio Drama/Podcast. I’m seeking a writer to collaborate with myself to create a script for this upcoming series. Much more information is posted below for you to view.
Genre: Horror/Mystery Audio Drama
Concept: We’ve all heard the story. A group of Teenagers go camping, to a cabin or a summer camp and a mysterious masked murderer hunts them down one by one. What happens after though? How do the survivors deal with the trauma? How are authorities involved?
In this Audio Drama a Detective reviews recovered audio and video clips along with a series of interviews from survivors and witnesses as she tries to solve the mystery of what really happened to a group 5 teenagers on what should’ve been a very normal camping trip.
Format: Audio Drama / ongoing series. We’re aiming for 20 minute episodes and a minimum of 16 episodes in the first season. This will be a collaborative effort between the chosen writer and myself and we will develop the story together.
Budget:Low/self funded. $200cad paid upfront and a % of earnings from the podcast.
Goal/Distribution: The goal is to make the podcast available on all major streaming platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc.
Experience. I’m an experienced filmmaker with awards in Directing and short films that have played film festivals globally. I have attached 3 links to reviews below.

Next Steps: if this is a project that at all interests you, please send an email to [email protected]
In the email please include a brief blurb of your experience as a writer and a few samples of your work. Ideally in the genre’s listed above.
I’d also be happy to answer any questions you might have regarding the project.
Please no messages on Reddit DMs. I check those very infrequently. To ensure your submission is received, email is the best way.
