A question for the ladies about proposing to the love of my life.

So first off I am a man, and I am grateful for this group. There are not very many resources like this for men who have a woman they love in prison. Thank you all for for posting your experiences. It has been tremendously helpful.

She has been in 1 year this month with 24 more months to go. I knew her for 1 year prior to her going in, so 2 years in total. I am madly in love with her. I want to spend my life with her.

My question is this. From a woman's point of view, should I wait until she is home and propose to her in person, or would it be OK to ask her now? I know I can be impatient so maybe I'm pushing it too quickly. I'm just not sure what I should do.

Ladies, what would you prefer?
