What are your opinions on how to work with the PTO/PTA group at your school? Do you delegate interactions with them to others, or work with them directly? Do you find them to be frustrating to work with due to having so many more important things to manage? What would be the ideal way you would want your PTO/PTA at your school to connect with you and collaborate on ideas? What is the best way for these groups to help, rather than feel like an added burden?
I have noticed in our district that the level of activity of PTO varies greatly across schools. Some have many members and are frequently putting together events for the school, while others do not do anything outside of organizing dine out fundraisers monthly.
