Hey all,

I've been reported as breaking community guidelines on Patreon. From my interactions with the Patreon team, I understand that pretty much all content that even gets CLOSE to non-consensual is not allowed. Patreon uses some vague terminology to define what is allowed and what isn't and then reinforces them inconsistently to make things even more confusing. Up to now I tried to abide by the spirit of their guidelines by not posting several things I'd created that I knew would break them. However, discovering that "Daddy, You're not Doing It Right" apparently DOES break the guidelines was an eye-opener.

So. I've decided to be very conservative going forward on Patreon. I will keep the Patreon, but ONLY use it to release my sweeter / non-dark content, including audios / scripts like "You're My Celebrity", Catholic Kink", "Weird Together", "I Know, Right" and others of their ilk. This may be a good thing as it provides an opportunity for me to separate my darker content from my sweeter, more vanilla work, which will keep the audiences for those things separate. I'll ALSO use Patreon to offer erotic writing advice and behind the scenes content and chats with other creators.

What this means for my Patrons:

I'm currently working to move my darker content over to SubscribeStar, which is anecdotally (and provably) more permissive than Patreon. They still have policies about adult content to cover their bases, but they're more lax. As I transition my darker content over to SubscribeStar, I've brought my Patreon into compliance, which means a lot of the content that used to be there is gone.

What about April University?

April University (which I believe is what most of my Patrons are primarily there for) will ALSO be removed from Patreon because frankly, I have NO idea whether or not it falls under Patreon's Community Guidelines, and Patreon understandably wants nothing to do with checking every individual audio for "compliance". I don't have a clear definition, and I don't want to play games, where some lessons might be okay, but some later lessons may not be. Since I honestly don't know, it all goes.

SubscribeStar has been FULLY updated with ALL April University lessons released so far. It's likely also that once the series is finally completed, I'll also offer the individual lessons as downloads on Gum Road.

What happens to Special Projects?

For consistency's sake, all Special Projects will now be released on either SubscribeStar, Gum Road or both before they eventually go to Reddit.

NO PRESSURE

This is a hard situation, but problems with monetization are sometimes an unfortunate side-effect of creating adult content. It costs a LOT in time, equipment, software and resources to create the kind of content I do. I'm not trying to make a living here, I'm just trying to offset some of my expenses. I don't NEED the money, but it makes things a LOT easier. It's honestly fairly low on the priority list. I care more about actually creating the scripts and audios, finding collaborators to help me, and finding people to share them with. Money is fourth on the list.

If you feel like you need to leave my Patreon and don't want to follow me over to SubscribeStar or buy individual downloads on Gum Road, I TOTALLY understand. I can't THANK YOU enough for the support you've already given me. If you still want to support me, remember that most of my work ends up being available for free on Reddit anyway, eventually, so you can always think of these platforms as support for that work, even if the content you're supporting isn't exclusive to that platform.
