On the off chance this is any use, I was just collecting my train tickets at the station and scooped up all that were in the machine. Just discovered there was a Liverpool to Preston Duo ticket in there (I’m guessing some unlucky pair of travellers return journey). The ticket was printed at 16.55 (mine at 17.17). If you’re getting the last train back from lime street, I can give you the ticket. I’m at the match otherwise so can’t really get there any earlier. I hope you happen to check here but if not, enjoy your indefinite stay in Liverpool.
