To be honest, disregarding my personal opinion in a direct sense, the vast majority of socially active males that are 16-20 that I know would generally if asked, would say they lean right. Some more than others, but definitely a majority would vote for trump. I personally would vote democrat, mainly because of my family and what Iāve been brought up with. I donāt have particularly strong opinions about it, itās just thought about differently over here, because if you are 18, you legally have to vote. When playfully debating with friends, it was always difficult to argue the āDementia vs convicted felonā stuff because obviously both candidates have their significant flaws. From an external view, without having a better understanding of it all, I actually really struggle to comprehend how the two main candidates were so flawed. Even though I lean left, I canāt believe Biden was trying to run with his clear lack of cognitive ability. Although itās not what I want, my family who would support Democrats, agree there is no way Kamala will win ESPECIALLY after the assassination incident. How that even happened still baffles me with the reputation of how elite the secret service supposedly is. A lot of content I see on my Instagram and tik tok feeds for example, is bashing Biden and supporting trump. What is your take on some of the things Iāve mentioned? Is this a surprise to hear this is the way many young men in aus feel?
