We couldn't afford much for my daughter's party. We are just having it at a park, inviting 5 of her friends, having grocery store cupcakes and chips and juice..throwing a couple of dollar tree table covers on a picnic table, a balloon..is it enough? Other parties I've been to are always at very expensive play spaces. She just wants to play with her friends at her favorite park, so I know she won't care and will enjoy it either way, which I am most happy for. I'm just insecure and have a bad habit of negatively comparing myself to other moms 🥲 can someone tell me it's okay to have modest parties nowadays?!
