I'm a stay at home mom and do at home preschool for my almost 4 year old. We dedicate about 30-45 minutes a day to more intentional learning (through songs, books and planned play). Other than that, we kind of just .. stay home. We don't really have family nearby. She has a few friends we go on playdates with. We go on outings almost every day, if not every other day. Places like the museum, parks, library, and she does a couple sports and arts programs through our town. Obviously they also run errands with me. One of her friends goes to an actual preschool and my daughter always says that she wishes she could too. She is very social and loves to play with other kids. I'm worried that what we're doing isn't what's best for her. I'd put her in a half day preschool ASAP if it was in our budget but it just isn't right now. Days we don't leave the house drag on especially hard..it's not always realistic to get out everyday for us
Are there other stay at home parents to a preschool aged kid that wouldn't mind sharing how their days usually run? Is what we're doing not enough?
