troubleshooting this weird glitch w the venetian blinds effect

hey everyone, i’m trying to use the venetian blinds effect but on the particular clip the color weirdly gets fucked up whenever i add it. it’s only happening w this clip. i tried to adjust the color, thinking it had to do w my color grading but no, even after removing the color effects, the whole clip gets like this when i add the blinds. really at my wits end here, could really use some advice. i’m still a beginner at this stuff. thanks
