Am I really making progress?

So I am .20 yo, I have been struggling with this for a long time. Last years I didn’t see advances, but this year I did. I started with hands and then bought a FL. Now, I ussually practice in the morning, and these past months Ive been feeling more in control. Howeve, today I did it in the evening and it went not well (reached PONR every minute). And I ask myself if am actually making progress of it is just that in the morning it is easiest to control ejeculation. I’d really appreciate your answers. Every time I fail I feel horrible.
