TW: mention of MMC and Chemical
Hi,
As I type my, as of today, 3 week old daughter is snoring away (she’s kinda like a truffle pig) on my chest. I can’t believe she is here, and the long, lllooonnnggg journey of pregnancy feels like a million years ago.
After a MMC and a chemical, I was so sure something was going to happen to her right up until I held her in my arms for the first time. The birth was horrendously long, and it was quite traumatic (whole other story), but I would do it all again to have my perfect girl here.
I just wanted to share my story. I thought it would never happen for me and it took a long time - but I’m still pinching myself that I’m a mom and I feel like the luckiest lady alive.
