Wow, 210k subscribers. Much as we're fascinated by the growth of our posters, the growth in the last year has been incredible, so much so that we passed another 10k milestone while the mods discussed what to write.

Some updates:

OC continues to be a major backbone of this sub. One thing that has long been a difficult line for us is Reddit's rules against involuntary pornography, which would get us shut down quickly. Please do not post random photos you've snuck of people. Definitely do not post social media photos of someone pregnant you know in a bikini with the head cropped, as it is far too easy to find those on the originating sites.

We've been a little lax on sellers, which has become more obvious during the pandemic. We're more tolerant of sellers than many OC-allowing subreddits, but we will have to be harsher on those including such in the titles. We've already put Kik and Snap/Snapchat as forbidden words in titles for our auto-mod, and it looks as though we may be adding "OnlyFans" soon. We still are okay with folks selling, but we do not wish to turn this subreddit into a marketplace. No selling references in titles, okay?

Spam has found new and interesting sources. A relatively recent revelation we've not acted upon yet: there are spammers posting PornHub links either to raise their karma or actually game PornHub's referrer system. Mods of other NSFW subreddits have found ways to filter the referrer links at least, and we will be implementing that soon here as well.

Oh, also, unless a poster has completely taken over the front page, quit reporting all their posts as spam? It's just silly.

One thing not so easily filtered is folks' comments. Try to be cool and realize when you're not getting a good reaction rather than doubling down. I know it's difficult -- I've certainly gotten a few things downvoted when I thought I was being clever but coming across as an asshole. Also remember that this subreddit, much like the rest of the world, is not created to cater to your tastes alone -- if you don't like what a poster has to offer, move on. They aren't going to change for you.

Design-wise the transition from old to new reddit remains unclear. Some of the mod tools only work for the moderators under old reddit, or even only are present there. Revisions are continuing to the look of the subreddit, though new Reddit is definitely a straightjacket.
