So I didn’t see the Monumental Mass when it premiered digitally, but I told myself I’d pick it up if it got a physical release. I assumed I’d just get the Blu-ray like I did for the Metal Mass, but then they announced the vinyl and earbook formats.

I have a lot of Powerwolf vinyl, so it would be cool to have a live album too. But apart from the obvious issue of price, I’m not sure how different the sound of Monumental Mass is from the studio versions, since it wasn’t a traditional “live” show. I’m also not sure how much I’d be missing out on in terms of visuals, since I don’t think the vinyl comes with DVDs or Blu-rays.

Then, if I’m getting the show on Blu-ray, the question becomes if it’s worth it to spring for the earbook so I get the Wacken 2019 show as well.

Anyone know enough about the Monumental Mass or the Wacken 2019 show to tell me if it’s worth it to get the vinyl or the earbook instead of the regular Blu-ray version?
