Or at least point me in the right direction. My work has an annual soapbox race. The rules are simple. You have to use a powerwheels or similar. You must use the original wheels, or wheels from another powerwheels You can't use bearings of any kind You must use the body/tub of the vehicle as one piece. You must remove the drive train. 10' of pushing at the top of the hill
Given these rules, how can I make a fast rig? I've looked around for soapbox forums but I'm not finding anything relevant. The best tips I can find are for pinewood derby cars.
Currently I have a jeep. I'm looking for some banded wheels (with the rubber). I'm going to take the dash out and add a plastic seat. Weld a push bar onto the back axle. And redesign the steering setup.
