Q: 6v power wheel traction

I purchased my 2yr a dinosaur powervwheel. Apparently it is only 1 wheel drive. If there is any spot in my yard not perfectly level, with sand, or wet grass the tire just spins. What are some cheap fixes.
I seen some people wrap a bike tire around the wheel. Would that help? I seen another post where a guy put a bunch of screws in tire to grip the dirt?
Currently my son can't go more then 5 feet before tires start spinning.
