Obviously we all love this show, it’s definitely not perfect but it’s 🔥🔥🔥 especially seasons 1-3. Those first 3 are damn near flawless.

I know a lot of the Power fan base hates Angela but I personally love her character. I know she’s the reason Ghost cheated and left Tasha but I understand why Ghost did it. She represented the life he wanted to have outside of the game. Tasha represented everything he didn’t want to be. Angela arrested Ghost but she also helped get him out. She also risked and lost everything trying to help the St. Patrick family. They LOVED EACH OTHER.

Ghost was one of the best characters in TV history. He literally always found a way out of whatever he was in. His biggest downfall imo was leaving that print on the window. After he took out Milan he was done but him getting arrested fucked everything up. Ghost and Tommy are one of if not the best duo in movie and tv history.

Tommy is one of the most loyal people and ride or dies ever. He was just looking for his family and wanted nothing to change. He was definitely written just as good as Ghost just in different ways. Joseph and Omari chemistry is unmatched.

My two main issues with the show: 1. Timeline: CK has said multiple times that they had to play with time because it’s supposed to take place over the course of 6 months but Tariq is in the 5th grade in S1x1 and going to college in S6x15. I get it that they had to cast younger because of Naturi but they should’ve made some changes to the writing. It wouldn’t change that much imo.

1. Season 6: CK also said she originally wanted the show to end at S5 but STARZ wanted a S6. Because of that they had to stretch out the last season into 2 and I don’t think they quite did it right. Season 6 doesn’t feel as cohesive as S1-5. As a writer myself I think they should’ve done a little bit better with that. I also personally don’t like the “who shot ghost” last 5 episodes.
