Are Ghost and Tommy Friends?

I’m near the end of season 3 and it seems like they are doing everything in their power to screw one another over. Tommy can’t trust ghost and ghost can’t be honest. I assume it gets worse?
But why can’t Tommy see and accept that Ghost just wants out. He’s not being a good friend in general.
