Why do some cmdlets have different sets of parameters?
Post Body
I was reading up on mandatory parameters and came across a technet article that used the option 'ParameterSetName' and I'm thinking this is /How/ they group the different parameter sets, but I'm curious as to why they split some options out.
For example, You cannot run Get-ChildItem with '-Path' and '-LiteralPath' in the same command (I know it's a bad example but it's the first one I could think of for the question).
