I have been tasked with color matching the powder coat finish of an aluminum rolling shutter to PVDF finished corrugated metal panels (galvanized steel). It has been a hassle to even gather the standard colors for the PVDF coating since it is a custom color.
From my limited knowledge, it will be nearly impossible to achieve a decent color match given the differing substrates and finish types. I’ve been spinning my wheels sending samples and talking to technical reps.
I was just curious if anyone has tried to achieve something similar? Any bit of input would go a long way.
