Install Steam on Linux:
- Once booted into the Linux distribution, install Steam via the terminal:
bash sudo apt update sudo apt install steam
- Once booted into the Linux distribution, install Steam via the terminal:
Run Steam and Install Your Games:
- Log into your Steam account and install the games you want to play directly on your PowKiddy.
Notes:
- Performance: Streaming relies on your network’s strength, so a wired connection or a strong Wi-Fi signal is recommended.
- Resource Constraints: The PowKiddy is not as powerful as a dedicated gaming PC, so performance may vary.
- Compatibility: Not all Steam games are designed to be streamed or run on ARM-based Linux systems, so check compatibility for each game.
Using these methods, you can enjoy your Steam games on the PowKiddy without needing Port Master.
