Issues with titanium white (Amsterdam)

Post Body

I am trying to achieve this thin honey like consistency with the white.

  • At < 1 part medium: requires a lot of water, runny and not honey like, pigment fractures/come apart in the painting.
  • At about 2-3 parts medium, still more water required than for other colors, more like thin honey, but now prone to surface cracking

Regardless of mix, it is also aways kinda matt and chalk-like, prone to craters and bubbles. Also separates very easily (when pre-mixing and filling into bottles).

Is this specific to the Amsterdam white, or do other titanium whites have similar issues? Any way to fix this?
