“Decorative tiles”: so I wanted to try out some tile designs and found several place near that sell already bisque fired tiles but most places I asked didn’t know much about them.
Post Body

Most of the places I contacted sell the same tile (at least the images appear to be the same material) but when I asked them about the material used they didn’t know a lot about it because it seems that they all came from an industrial fabric. I also did some questions about how I should proceed with the glaze firing and most places just said “don’t fire above 1020C/low fire for the tile to not bow/bend). Is this tiles familiar to someone maybe?

My question are: 1. How can I paint/draw with a ceramic pencil and make the background of the tile white since the tile itself (after bisqued) has this yellowish/beige tint to it? Does it get away with the glaze firing? 2. Since she recommended to low fire it can I use normal underglazes and glazes in it for the designs? I don’t see many people talking about tile projects here but maybe someone works with it regularly and can help me out
