Making a dipping glaze a brush on glaze?

Post Body

Hey everyone! I have mostly been using dip glazes in my pottery so far, but I have recently been expanding into some brush on glaze techniques! I don't want to buy too many brush on glazes though because I already have a good selection of dip glazes... I've found an additive from my local ceramics supplier that is supposed to be a suspending agent that will transform dipping glazes into brush on glazes. Has anyone had any experience using an additive like that? Does it work well enough to justify sacrificing some of my dipping glaze and making some test tiles? The additive I've been looking at is Vee Gum T from the Ceramic Shop in Norristown, PA. Thanks!!
